Ring in iconic Sputnik design! The space race started in 1957 when the Sputnik satellite was launched into space. The event inspired designers around the world and was in the jewelry industry, rings like this, so-called Sputnik rings was beeing created. This ring has about sixty spikes and all original spikes appear to be intact. The ring is 16.5 mm in diameter and consists of stamped sterling silver.
